History

edit

OnePageCRM was founded in 2010 by Michael FitzGerald in the NUI Galway Business Innovation Centre.[2][4] FitzGerald’s aim was to build a new kind of CRM,[3][5] an action-focused sales tool[6] based on the Getting Things Done method developed by David Allen.[2]

After its launch in 2010, the company won the Best New Web Application/Service at the Irish Web Awards where it was assessed by over 150 independent judges worldwide. [7] In 2013, the company secured funding from Enterprise Ireland and private investors[8] to support its hiring process and growth while creating new jobs in Galway, Ireland.[9]

In 2013, OnePageCRM became the first recipient of the Twilio Fund Europe 2013, a joint venture between cloud communications company Twilio and startup accelerator and US investment group 500 Global (previously 500 Startups).[10] [11]

In 2018, the company was awarded Business All-Star CRM at the Business All Star Awards in Ireland and received Business All-Star Accreditation.[12]

In 2018, the company’s CEO Michael FitzGerald went on the CEO Tour, a month-long campervan journey across the UK, educating the company’s clients and other SMBs on the importance of the global-thinking sales strategy and walking in the customer’s shoes.[13][14]

In 2020, the company supported small businesses during the lockdown by switching its focus from selling to customer support.[15]

In 2023, OnePageCRM was shortlisted as finalist in the ‘Innovator of the year’ category in the SFA National Small Business Awards 2024 organized by Small Firms Association (SFA) and supported by National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI), Enterprise Ireland, Irish Independent, and others.[16][17]

In 2023, Chambers Ireland announced its official endorsement of OnePageCRM.[18]

In 2024, Forbes Advisor acknowledged OnePageCRM as one of the best simple CRMs.[19] As of 2024, it is the only Irish company on the list.
