ORTO Courier (1976 Olympics magazine) was an international-circulated magazine which came out quarterly for only six issues during the time when the the preparations for the 1976 Olympic Games is Montreal began. It was a combined effort of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and L'Organizme de radio Television Olympique (ORTO). It was published in two languages (English and French) and had a circulation of 15,000 world-wide, sent to broadcasting institutions across the globe. The magazine was sent free of charge to foreign broadcasters who were also preparing to broadcast the Olympic events from different venues in Montreal to their own home country. It offered an insight to the preparatory developments in construction of venues and the commentator's console to be used for the dissemination of the broadcast. Other particulars in the latest technological advancements, facilities, housing for athletes, and other important news from past Olympics were also highlighted.
