Nonbinary parents' day is celebrated on the third Sunday of April, it is a celebration honoring nonbinary parents, as well as nonbinary parenthood. Johnny Blazes, a nonbinary performer and educator, created and began celebrating Nonbinary Parents Day in 2017, making April 16th 2017 the first celebrated Nonbinary Parents' Day. While being nonbinary usually encompasses being forced into choosing a binary gender alternative like Father’s Day or Mother’s Day, Nonbinary Parents' Day is instead a day dedicated and created solely for nonbinary parents.
