Nidal Ali Shah (born 10th October 2006) is a parliamentary candidate for the Yeovil constituency in the 2024 General Elections.[1] He is running against Marcus Fysh, Serena Wooton, Adam Dance and Mark Burdge.[2]

He is running as the youngest ever parliamentary candidate and is still in school where he attends Millfield School. He would be, if elected, the youngest member of parliament in history.[3] [4]

He has also excelled in chess and academics amongst others but has not formally given any interviews regarding his candidacy at this time.[5][6][7] There is little else available about Nidal Shah and this is reflected in the lack of available information in his online profiles.[8] [9] [10]

In addition to this, Nidal Shah runs a popular Tiktok ‘Distant 57’ which has garnered over 35,000 followers. [11] He posts gaming content on this account and streams regularly.

He is running for the Workers Party of Britain (WPB) led by George Galloway.[1] The Workers Party of Britain is a left wing political party with Pro-Palestinian views and have key policies such as leaving NATO.[12] [13] Nidal Shah himself has been a consistent and loud activist for the Palestinian movement during his short political career.
