South Georgia Industrial College and N. L. Black should redirect here
Nathan Lane Black (August 5, 1870 – ) was a teacher and minister who founded and served as president of South Georgia Industrial College in Waycross, Georgia.
Black was born in Hale County, Alabama.[1]
South Georgia Industrial College was semi-public.[2] It was established on the outskirts of Waycross on land donated by a real estate firm intent on developing the area surrounding the school. It was reported to be the only school for African American children in Waycross in 1915.[3]
