Thami Bennani (Arabic: التهامي بناني; 1989 – March 24, 2007) was a Moroccan teenager from Mohammedia who was killed.
Thami Bennani was born in 1989[1][2] He was an electricity and electronics student at the CPGE Mohammedia Technical High School.[3]
his mother, Hayat Alami is a teacher.[4]
On April 3rd, a security guard found a decomposing body in a the Oued Merzeg forest range in Dar Bouazza and informed the Royal Gendarmerie, which led an autopsy and later buried the body under Islamic customs after being unable to identify the body.[4][5] The autopsy found that the body was riddled with bruises and had traces of decapitation.[5]
In 2022, Bennani's phone was located in a remote forest near Azilal by the National Brigade of Judicial Police, the phone was still powered and had an ongoing phone subscription.[6][5]
