Mrityunjay Thakur (Mrityunjay Kumar Thakur) Born in 1968 in a small but culturally rich town of Motihari (East Champaran) situated in the north eastern part of Bihar. Champaran is also known for the Satyagrah movement of Gandhiji. Being born in a village, seeing illiteracy, abject poverty from close quarters, gave him a rare insight into human beings and and a sharp understanding about the socio-economics and politics of India.
