This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). Mohammed Haimoud is a Moroccan astronomy enthusiast, born on September 15, 2002. From a young age, he has been passionate about science, particularly electronics and electricity, and started sharing content related to these subjects on YouTube. His love for physics was cultivated during his middle school years by an inspiring teacher named Hayat, and in high school, his interest shifted towards astronomy, which quickly became his favorite hobby.
In high school, Mohammed founded his first science club at Moulay Driss High School in Casablanca, where he led various astronomy-related activities. This passion for the cosmos continued into his university years, where he participated in numerous science festivals and events across Morocco, including those in cities like Oujda, Casablanca, and Rabat, as well as at universities and schools.
Mohammed is well-known in Morocco for his expertise in astronomy and astrophotography, and he has built a wide global network, connecting with both Arabic and international communities. He is the founder and current president of an astronomy club called QUASAR, which focuses on promoting astronomy to the public. His nickname, COSMAN (a shorthand for Cosmic Man), reflects his deep love for the cosmos and the universe.
Mohammed aspires to become a renowned astronomer, contribute to the discovery of the universe's secrets, and develop new scientific theories. While most of his projects have been focused on outreach and education so far, he hopes to gain more hands-on experience, particularly in observatories, to further his astronomical knowledge and contributions.
His favorite astronomers include historical figures like Galileo and Taqi al-Din from 16th-century Istanbul, as well as modern scientists like Neil deGrasse Tyson. Mohammed’s main focus now is simplifying astronomy for the public, making it more accessible and inspiring future generations.
