• Comment: Sources are still about its artists not about the company. Lightoil (talk) 09:05, 9 August 2023 (UTC)
  • Comment: I don't really see any independent notability from the groups supported. Needs more external news sources, not passing mentions in news releases by the groups. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 20:06, 4 April 2023 (UTC)

Modhaus (stylized in all caps; Korean모드 하우스; romanized: modeuhauseu) is a South Korean record label formed in 2021 by Jaden Jeong. The label is home to the girl group TripleS and former Loona members, Jeon Hee-jin, Cho Ha-seul, Kim Lip, Choerry and Jinsoul.

History edit

Modhaus was officially established in November 2021.[citation needed]

On February 18, 2022, Modhaus announced that they would be launching the world's first "fan-participating girl group" and that the group was set to start revealing in the first half of the year. The group is led by the CEO Jaden Jeong, who worked with companies such as JYP Entertainment, Woollim Entertainment, Sony Music Korea and Blockberry Creative.[1]

On April 4, 2022, Modhaus revealed that their upcoming girl group would be called TripleS.[2] On September 16, it was announced that tripleS would debut two subunits, Acid Angel from Asia and +(KR)ystal Eyes.[3] Acid Angel From Asia made their official debut on October 28, 2022.[4]

On January 5, 2023, Modhaus announced that TripleS would be debuting as a ten-member group in mid-February.[5] TripleS debuted with the EP Assemble on February 13, 2023.[6]

On March 17, 2023, it was announced TripleS' second sub-unit, +(KR)ystal Eyes, would be making their debut in the first week of May.[7] On the same day, Modhaus shared that they had signed an exclusive contract with former Loona members, Jinsoul, Kim Lip, Hee-jin and Choerry.[8][9] On April 1, 2023, Modhaus introduced their new project, ARTMS, consisting of all four former Loona members.[10]

On May 4, 2023, +(KR)ystal Eyes made their official debut with the EP Aesthetic and its title track, "Cherry Talk", without an accompanying music video. The next day, Modhaus released a statement on Discord stating that "restrictive forces" prevented +(KR)ystal Eyes from performing on any music shows other than M Countdown, and that their debut music video had been delayed.[11] Later that day, the music video for "Cherry Talk" was released.[12]

On June 6, 2023, Acid Eyes debuted with the single album, Cherry Gene, with its title track, "Cherry Gene".[13]

On June 21, 2023, Modhaus announced that Odd Eye Circle would redebut under Modhaus with a new mini album, Version Up, on July 12, 2023.[14][15] The same day, Haseul signed with Modhaus and joined ARTMS.[16][17]
