The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning (Nepali: आर्थिक मामिला तथा योजना मन्त्रालय Ārthika māmilā tathā yōjanā mantrālaya) is the governmental body of Karnali Province charged with the responsible for the analysis of the province's economic situation and the formulation, implementation and regulation of economic policies, the allocation of province-level financial resources, investment projections and financial management, and the formulation, implementation and regulation of policies and laws related to state revenue.[3]

Introduction to Ministry

According to the constitution of Nepal, the provinces have been established in the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, as provided for in the three-tier government structure. Karnali Province is one of the seven provinces in Nepal. There are 10 districts Western Rukum, Salyan, Dolpa, Humla, Jumla, Kalikot, Mugu, Surkhet, Dailekh and Jajarkot. There are 25 municipalities and 54 rural municipalities in the province.

After Nepal was transformed into a federal structure and the system of union, state and local government was completed in the year 2017, the three-level elections were completed and the provincial government was formed The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning was established in 2018.
