Draft:Midhun Mohan (artist)

Midhun Mohan was an Indian visual artist who worked with painting, digital media, filmmaking, animation and installations.[1] His work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally. Notably, he was part of the group shows Lokame Tharavadu and Sea: A Boiling Vessel.[2]

Midhun was born in Kerala. His mother Kanakalatha is a retired official in the Health Department of the state government, and his father Swathy Mohan is a dramatist, actor and novelist. Midhun got his higher education from the University of Calicut, Kerala. He passed away at the age of 38 following a sudden cardiac arrest in Goa, where he was living at the time.[3]

Midhun's work dealt with diverse themes such as history, post-humanism, religion and death.[4][5]
