Men in Black 5 is an upcoming American science fiction action comedy film based on the Marvel Comics series of a similar name, in turn based on the conspiracy theory. Produced by Columbia Pictures and Amblin Entertainment in association with Image Nation, it is the sequel to Men in Black 3 (2012) and the fifth installment in the Men in Black franchise. The film stars Will Smith reprising his role as James Darrell Edwards III / Agent J.

In May 2024, it was reported that a fifth film in the Men in Black franchise was in development, with Will Smith reprising his role as James Darrell Edwards III / Agent J from the original trilogy.[1]
