Meiko Mochizuki (Japanese: 望月芽衣子, Mochizuki Meiko) is one of the main protagonists of the film series, Digimon Adventure Tri, she is a 17 year old High School student who is the 9th member of the digidestined. she was introduced in 2015.
In Japanese, she's voiced by Miho Arakawa and in english, she's voiced by Cristina Vee. her Digimon is Meicoomon.
Development edit
Meiko was originally going to be a male character, but she was changed to a girl due to the fact that there were less girls in the Digimon Adventure digidestined.
she was developed to be the opposite of Kari Kamiya. and is mostly based off a real life Japanese High School girl.
Personality edit
Meiko is a shy girl who often apologizes to her social awkwardness to new people who she meets, she also lacked confidence, but later on in the Digimon Adventure Tri series, she becomes strong and assertive.
Appearance edit
Meiko has black hair, pale skin, and a Japanese High School uniform. She originally wore black glasses, but her glasses were changed to red.

Meiko first appears in the Digimon Adventure Tri film series as a new student who transferred from Tottori.
