Draft:Medina Valley High School

  • Comment: In order to show notability, which is the qualification for a subject to have an article on Wikipedia, you must provide multiple sources that are independent, reliable, detailed and secondary. The sources you have provided are reliable, but are not independent. Most are primary and all lack detail. They are also not distinguishing. It's laudable that this school has a successful athletic program, but some school wins a state championship in every sport, in every division, every year. Simple listing of results don't show notability. Neither would newspaper articles detailing individual championship runs. What would show notability would be a detailed story covering the entirety of the school's athletic success. There are also numerous style errors which I will fix, and a few instances of overly detailed information better suited to the school's website. You should probably read WP:NSCHOOL, WP:42, WP:GNG and WP:My first article in addition to the links included above. Most high school articles submitted to AfC are hopeless and the author gets advised to add some content to the school district's article instead. I think with work you will have an article here. Good luck! And happy editing. 4.37.252.50 (talk) 20:34, 16 July 2024 (UTC)
