editMedBridge was founded in 2009 by Justin Kowalchuk, a healthcare education and technology firm. In 2022, Justin stepped down as CEO.[5] In June 2023, MedBridge introduced its new CEO, Donovan Campbell.[6]
In May 2016, MedBridge won GeekWire’s “Bootstrapper of the Year” award.[7]
In September 2016, MedBridge obtained $3 million in debt financing to boost its products.[8]
In November 2017, MedBridge launched its patient-focused MedBridge GO app.[9]
In April 2018, LLR Partners announces an investment into MedBridge.[10]
In January 2021, Brentwood Associates recapitalizes MedBridge. LLR Partners still holds a minority ownership stake.[11]
