Max Nardari (Padua, 26 December 1976)...[1] is a director, screenwriter, producer, songwriter and composer[2].

Life and career edit

On September 9th 2020 it premieres the music video Fragile, during the 75ª edition of the International Film Festival of Venezia. The music video, directed with Emiliano Leone is about the planet's environmental matter after the Coronavirus Pandemic. The music video won various international awards including the Cannes Film Festival 2022, The Andromeda Film Festival 2020 in Turkey and the Resistance International Film Festival in Iran.[3][4]

In 2021 Nardari wrote, directed, and produced the comedy Diversamente[5], released on May 18 2021 exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. In the cast: Alessandro Borghi, Michela Andreozzi, Claudia Zanella, Giancarlo Magalli, Caterina Misasi, Simone Montedoro, Euridice Axen, Fioretta Mari and Denny Méndez. The movie is awarded the Social Film Festival Artelesia 2021 for the Best Film[6] and the Cilento International Film Festival 2022 as Best Italian Comedy[7]

On September 6th 2022 it premieres the short movie Ritorno al presente, during the 79ª edition of the International Film Festival of Venezia[8]. The short movie won 15 awards around the world, among which The Chicago Comedy Reel 2022 as Best Actress and Best International Short Film and the Premio Leone di Vetro at the International Film Festival of Venezia[9][10]. In the cast: Daniela Poggi, Attilio Fontana and Clizia Fornasier. On March 6 th 2023 the short film released on Amazon Prime Video worldwide.

Other activities edit

In addition to being a film director, Max Nardari has been also Artistic Director of two film festivals. In 2019 and 2020 has been for two times the Artistic Director of Sabaudia Studios, the famous and historical Italian Comedy Festival of Sabaudia (Latina, Italy) co-hosted with the actress Tosca D'Aquino. The show lasted ten days with a presence of almost 10.000 spectators.[11][12][13]

In 2018, 2019 and 2020 has been the Artistic Director of the International Russian Film Festival Premio Felix[14], co-hosted with Elisabetta Pellini and Arianna Bergamaschi.[15][16][17]

Alongside his career as director and filmmaker, Nardari has always cultivated his great passion as songwriter and film music composer, inserting his songs which he also interpreted, in many of his films[18]. The song La ragnatela, it's part of the soundtrack of his Italian-Russian movie Liubov Pret-a-Portè in 2017 and on italian version Di tutti colori in 2019[19]

Private Life edit

Max Nardari is the son of Renea Rocchino Nardari, the first female lawyer of the Sacra Rota in Italy and eighth in the world.[20]
