Before her transition into music, Maureen owned and operated an American Speedy Printing Center in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, from 1990 to 2010. She also founded Lotus Designs & Events, LLC, where she currently serves as President and CEO.

Maureen has collaborated with prominent musicians such as Sherrie Austin and Will Rambeaux. She also partnered with Taja Sevelle, a singer-songwriter known for her work with Prince. Together, they have released new music, with Maureen contributing as a co-writer, producer, and guitarist. In 2018, Maureen formed her band, Mayhem Lane, with her Phoenix based studio musicians. Maureen is the music director of a documentary film called "Chika Mango," inspired by Mitch Albom’s memoir "Finding Chika." She oversees the music selection and contributes original music to the film's soundtrack.[3] She continues to release new music with Taja Sevelle and is in the process of co-writing a project with a fellow musician from Detroit, John Hern. She also conducts songwriting workshops as corporate team-building exercises that are designed to engage participants in the creative process of songwriting while providing insights into the music industry​​.

Her interests include writing, music production, scuba diving, boating, fishing, golfing, designing, and travel. Maureen is involved in several inner-city volunteer advisory roles and has served on the boards of multiple non-profit organizations, including Forgotten Harvest and Child Help​​.[4]
