Matt Prusak is an American business executive currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Celsius Bitcoin.
Education
editPrusak graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations. He was a USC Presidential Scholar and later a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University in Beijing, focusing on international trade policy.[1]
Career
editPrusak began his career as a consultant at Bain & Company in Southeast Asia. He then served as the Chief Business Officer of Curative, a COVID-19 diagnostics company, from 2020 to 2021. In June 2021, Prusak joined U.S. Data Mining Group, Inc. (USBTC) as Chief Commercial Officer, before transitioning to Hut 8.[2]
In January 2024, Prusak became the CEO of Celsius Bitcoin. This new venture was formed in the wake of the bankruptcy proceedings of Celsius Network.[3][4]
In 2019, Prusak was a member of the Space Malta Taskforce, contributing to Malta's National Space Strategy.[5]
