Martial Arts Studies is an online academic journal published by Cardiff University Press.[1] The journal was founded in 2015[2] and publishes two issues per year.
Martial Arts Studies is published 'open access', which means it is free to access, download, and share. Cardiff University Press is a 'diamond open access' publisher, which means there are no charges for authors or readers.[3]
The journal was founded by Professor Paul Bowman of Cardiff University and Dr Benjamin N. Judkins (formerly of Cornell University). It was designed by Dr Hugh Griffiths.
Martial Arts Studies is indexed by Scopus,[4] the Directory of Open Access Journals[5] and other indexers.
