Mansudae, or Mansu Hill (Korean: 만수대) (Hanja: 萬壽臺) is a hilly area on the west bank of the Taedong River, located in Junggu District [ko], Pyongyang, North Korea , with a height of 60 m. It contains the Mansudae Grand Monument, which includes statues of President Kim Il Sung and President Kim Jong Il, the Chollima Statue, and the Mansudae Art Theater.
It is located north of Kim Il-sung Square and borders the Taedong River to the east and the Potong River to the west. Mansudae Assembly Hall, the building of the Supreme People's Assembly, the legislative branch of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, is located here. In the southeastern portion of Mansudae, there are high-rise apartments that were built during redevelopment that began in 2011.
