Life & Career edit

[Lluyle] was born on 24 January 1996 in Mossel Bay. He matriculated in 2013 at Great Brak Secondary School in Great Brak River. [2] He is currently studying BA with majors in Psychology at the University of South Africa.

Lluyle's love for writing started in high school. He and a group of friends started a rap crew which later lead to the discovery of writing poetry.

He later lands his first professional debut performance at the Mossel Bay Diaz Festival in 2018 after taking his poetry career seriously.

He continued to performed at various open mic and attended writing workshops until he eventually self-published his debut poetry anthology called "Unspoken" in 2021.[3]

Nominated for "Most Innovative Young Artist" award at the Cultural Affairs Awards 2023 by the Western Cape Government (Department of Sport and Culture).

Nominated for "Young Writer Of The Year" award at the Cultural Affairs Awards 2022 by the Western Cape Government (Department of Sport and Culture).
