Early Life
editLeigh Rose [1](born 16 December 1992) is an English footballer who plays as a central midfielder. Standing at 6 feet tall, Rose is known for his dynamic box-to-box playing style and goal-scoring ability.
Club Career
editLeigh Rose was born in Welwyn Garden City, England, and was part of the Watford FC academy setup until the age of 16. He began his senior football career with Ware FC in the 2010/11 season. Rose then moved to St. Margaretsbury for two seasons, where he scored over 50 goals for the club. He returned to Ware for the 2013/14 season before transferring to Hertford Town for the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons.
After a short break from football, Rose joined Hoddesdon Town, where he played until returning to Ware FC in the 2017/18 season. He spent six seasons at Ware[2], during which the team narrowly missed out in the playoff finals for two consecutive years, 2021/22 and 2022/23.
In the 2023/24 season, Rose made a significant move to Isthmian Premier side Potters Bar Town FC[3], where he is now the captain[4] of the club.
