Overview: Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana[1] is a Government Yojana of State Madhyapradesh[2]. On 28th January, 2023 Chief Minister of Madhyapradesh Mr. Shivraj Chouhan announced this Yojana.
Benefits: Married and unmarried women over aged 21Years old will get the benefit of 1000 INR per month. Later govt has announced that amount will be increased to 1250INR per month.[3]
Eligibility[4]: Married and Unmarried both Can participate in this scheme.Women have to be 21 years or older and 60 years or younger according to the calender of application year. Women should be permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh. Her family monthly income have to be less than 2.5lakh.Family member should be non incometax payer.Family should not have more than 5 acre land. Any member of family should not be a permanent/contractual/regular employee of state or Central Govt/undertaking. If the women is already receiving 1000 INR in any other scheme of central of state govt, she cannot take part in this scheme.
Objective:[5] The main purpose of this scheme is women empowerment and also financial, health and nutrition improvement of women and childrens in the state. According to government of Madhyapradesh, this financial help will boost the confidence of Women and this will add their value in the family and society.
How to apply:Application form is available at Gram Panchayat level. Gram panchyat/Block/camp level operator will do[6] the registration of women. During registration candidates must have to be physically present there.[7][8]
Requirements: Applicants should meet all the eligibility criteria. She must have to adhaar linked mobile number. Also her account should be adhaar linked and DBT[9] activated, otherwise she can't receive amount in her bank account.
