Klaxoon is a French company specializing in the development of collaborative software designed to optimize working environments and employee engagement in business. Founded in March 2015, the company offers a visual collaboration platform used both globally and locally, with offices located in Rennes, Paris, Birmingham and New York.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Klaxoon emerged as an indispensable ally in meeting the challenges of remote working and hybrid working, making it easier to communicate and manage teams and projects remotely. The platform is now used by thousands of users in over 7,500 organizations in 120 countries.

Its customers include more than 90% of CAC 40 companies and 15% of Fortune 500 companies. Klaxoon is an all in one collaborative platform designed to transform the way teams work. It offers a suite of 9 interactive tools that enable organizations to maximize engagement and boost productivity through a complete visual collaboration experience.

This suite of tools includes: Board, Session, Memo, Quiz, Survey, Adventure, Mission, Question and Network. All available through the application or a web page.[1]

Klaxoon also has a number of integrations with well-known tools such as Microsoft, Google, Jira, Moodle and Zapier. In this way, Klaxoon brings teams together by optimizing their workflow on their preferred tools.

The company has also recently developed a number of features that position it as an expert in hybrid working, engagement, project management and idea generation. Since June 2024, Klaxoon has incorporated Artificial Intelligence into the Board tool to enable teams to devote more time to collective decision-making, strategic activities and fostering commitment.

Since July 2024, users have also been able to access 'Statistics', a dashboard that brings together and explains in detail all the data relating to engagement in all their Klaxoon activities.

History

A graduate of the École nationale supérieure des sciences appliquées et de technologie (Enssat), Matthieu Beucher[3] founded Regards in 2009, specialising in 360° video and training.

Klaxoon was created in 2014, with Regards remaining the parent company. The platform was officially launched in 2015.

In September 2016, Klaxoon raised €5 million in its first round of financing from various investors: New York funds, San Francisco funds, Brittany region funds and business angels, including Xavier Niel.[4]

In April 2017, the Breton company opened offices in New York. In December 2017, the Klaxoon Store, a teamwork space, opened in Paris.

In May 2018, Klaxoon reported reaching one million users across 120 countries.

In November 2018, Klaxoon formalized an agreement with Microsoft to interconnect the suite of collaborative applications with Microsoft Teams.

In March 2019, Klaxoon announced a connection between its digital tools and the American Dropbox platform.

In April 2021, Klaxoon announced its new integration with Google Workspace. This will enable Klaxoon users to benefit from Google Workspace's collaborative tools directly from the platform.

In January 2023, Matthieu Beucher, founder of Klaxoon, announced the appointment of Hervé Simonin[5] as the company's Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors.
