King Joram was a King of Semien during the reign of King Gelawedos of the Ethiopian Empire. King Joram is most known for fighting with the Adalites against the Ethiopians but he was betrayed by Ahmad ibn Ibrahim al-Ghazi and regretted his decision, siding with the Ethiopians once more but he would be punished along with his people by reducing the Semien Kingdom to the Simien Mountains.
