Draft:Kim Sori (singer)

  • Comment: Most sources do not pass WP:GNG. Source 1 is unreliable, 3 is YouTube which cannot be used as a source, and 4 through 8 are chart positions which do not indicate notability on its own. Klinetalk to me!contribs 03:12, 17 November 2023 (UTC)

Kim Sori (Korean김소리, born February 2, 1985[1]), also known as Sori, is a South Korean singer and dancer (not to be confused with CocoSori's Sori, also named Kim Sori). Sori was born in Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Prior to her debut she practiced ballet and contemporary dance in her school years and later got a degree on Dance Arts in the Sangmyung University. In 2006 she auditioned to be a member of girlgroup Jewelry, but was rejected because the label didn't think she fit the group's concept.[citation needed] She was later called back to join the company and debut as a solo artist instead. She debuted in February 2009 with the song Real Lips, from the mini album Lip. The single was a hit, and she continued releasing music from 2009 until 2013. Her most recent release BIKINI was pretty controversial in Korea and was deemed "not suitable for minors". The music video ended up being age restricted on Youtube. She's been in musicals and TV commercials as well. In late 2012 she signed for Universal Music[2]. In 2013 she opened a second Youtube channel (@officialkimsori) prior to B.I.K.I.N.I.'s release, and more recently she opened another one where she uploads her covers, vlogs and collaborations. She's residing in Shanghai at the moment.
