Kieran Hickeys career edit
Hickey specialised in the study of historical and current climate change. [1] Hickey worked in the Geography department of University College Cork as a researcher and lecturer. He has also studied and worked in Armagh, Cork, Coventry, Kilkenny, Maynooth, Oxford and Scotland[2], as well as travelling to a number of other countries worldwide to aid in his research, visiting every continent. His research had taken him from his home in Ireland all the way to the Arctic Circle to research the effects of climate change in the area. [3] He has lectured in Maynooth University from 1993 to 1996 and University of Galway from 2001 to 2014.[4] During his lifetime, he published 3 books between 2008 and 2011, and contributed 13 chapters to collaborative works from 2002 to 2016. He has also written a number of research papers and edited journals on the topic of climate change from the years of 1992 to 2014. His published books are
