Kevin Spagnolo (born in 1996) is an italian clarinetist. He has won the 1st Prize in the Geneva International Music Competition in 2018 and is an international soloist.[1]

Career edit

Kevin Spagnolo started playing the clarinet at the age of eight in the conservatory ”Conservatorio Luigi Boccherini” in Lucca, and with 17 he graduated for the Bachelor’s Degree with the best marks under the teaching of prof. Remo Pieri. He attended his first Master Degree at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève , studying in the class of Romain Guyot, completed in 2017 with a special prize, and he graduated for his second Master Degree Soliste in 2019.[2]

He performed as soloist with Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, Sofia Philarmonic Orchestra[3], Orquesta de Aguascalientes, Bruxelles Philarmonic, Orchestre de Chambre de Genève, Orchestre des Nations, Swedish Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra Sinfonica di Sanremo, Orchestra Regionale Toscana, Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana.

In 2021 Kevin released his first CD “Façades” with Swedish Chamber Orchestra and Micheal Collins.

He played in Chamber music groups with Beatrice Rana, Emmanuel Pahud, Stefano Bollani, Liya Petrova, Carlos Sanchis, Chloe Ji-yeong Mun, Thèo Fouchenneret, Lorenzo Soulés, Simone Rugani, the string-quartets Quartet Voce, Quartetto Guadagnini, Quartetto Prometeo, Quartet Terpsychordes, and with artists as Lise Berthaud, Sergey Ostrovsky, Ophelie Gaillard, Yubeen Kim, Sara Vidouvier, and in duo with Vitor Fernandes accompanied by Serika Saito.
