Dr. Katherine Davies is an American philosopher who is an assistant professor of philosophy at the University of Texas at Dallas.[1] Davies works in continental philosophy, feminist and queer theory, and the history of philosophy, and was awarded a PhD in philosophy from Emory University in 2017.[1] In 2009, Davies was named an Iris Marion Young Diversity Scholar by the Rock Ethics Institute. In 2023-4 she was the Philip L. Quinn residential fellow at the National Humanities Center, working on a philosophical account of the foster care system.[2]
