Kate Burton (born 2nd October 1973) is an English television presenter and voice over artist based in Singapore. She’s a former England and Hong Kong International golfer.[1]
Burton began in radio back in 2005 working for RTHK Radio 3 where she hosted her own show ‘What’s the Score’ – a weekly round up of sport in Hong Kong.
Since 2005, she has been a regular television commentator on the LPGA Asian swing[2] as well as the Ladies European Tour. Burton has also commentated on the Asian Tour, KLPGA and DP World Tours.
In addition to golf broadcasting, Burton also commentates on tennis, most notably the Australian Open.
Outside of broadcasting, Burton set up a media coaching company KB Momentum that helps clients unlock their speaking potential.
Early Life
editBurton was born in Surrey, England and educated at Wallington High School for Girls.
She then attended Florida State University on a golf scholarship where she graduated with a double major in Spanish and French. She gained a Broadcast Diploma from the University of Westminster.
