KCYMS Basketball Club, also known as Flexachem KCYMS for sponsorship reasons, is an Irish basketball club based in Killorglin that currently has a men's team that competes in the Super League. Their home arena is the Killorglin Sports Complex.
History
editEarly years and sponsorship
editIn 1999, the club's men's team relaunched. The team finally reached national level in 2016, under Keane's SuperValu Killorglin, and jumped to the Super League in 2018. Until 2021, Keane's SuperValu Killorglin were the sponsors of the club, but that changed over to 360 Financial Consultants for the 2021/2022 season. Flexachem have been the sponsors since the 2022/2023 season.
2023-2024
editAt the start of the 2023/24 season, Declan Wall stood down as head coach, and was replaced by Mike McGinn.
