Draft:Josh York (trainer)

  • Comment: The refbombing is just ridiculous, there is no way the two-sentence lead section requires 29 citations! And yet, the one statement (DOB) that actually has to be referenced, isn't.
Cut down the citations considerably. Cite each material statement with the strongest source supporting it, while ensuring that the draft as a whole cites 3-5 sources that provide significant coverage of the subject, as well as meeting the WP:GNG standard more generally. Josh York (born June 28, 1983) is an author, entrepreneur, and former personal fitness trainer.[1][2][3][4][5][6] He is the founder[7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14] and CEO[15][1][16][17] of GYMGUY`Z[18][19][20][21][22] and Fuel Your Drive Podcast.[23][18][24][25][26][27]

Career edit

After graduation, York started a personal training business.[28][29] He was renting a space out of Plainview, NY, for GYMGUYZ.[10][7][8][9][30]

York started GYMGUYZ in 2008,[11][20][21] in the dining room of his parent's home with a laptop.[2][19][28] He self-grew GYMGUYZ to become an in-home and onsite personal training service.[10][31][6] In 2014, York received approval to franchise the GYMGUYZ brand,[4] opening the first in Westchester County, NY, in March.[18][7][8][9]

GYMGUYZ has launched new fitness programs at corporations, schools, and senior living centers.[1][5] GYMGUYZ expects to inaugurate between 75 and 100 franchise locations in 2023.[32][33]
