Jonathan Perzley is an American sports agent,[1] specializing in professional football.[2] He specifically represents NFL players at Sportstars, Inc.[1][3]
Early Life & Education edit
Perzley was born on June 2, 1984 in Ridgewood, New Jersey. He attended Fair Lawn High School where he participated in tennis as a teen. As a Junior, he became nationally ranked.[4]
Perzley attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL where he received his bachelor's and master's degrees.[5][6]
Career & Notable Clients edit
Jon became a NFLPA certified contract advisor and agent in 2007.[5] Perzley signed his first client, D'Qwell Jackson out of the University of Maryland.[7]
Since joining Sportstars, Inc., Perzley has built up his roster of NFL clients.[8][9][10] Some of Perzley's clients have become some of the highest paid players at their respective positions.[11][12] Perzley notably represents a large list of professional football players from his alma mater, the University of Florida.[13] Perzley has been highlighted as operating differently than other agents by providing full service concierge in addition to normal agent duties.[14]
Perzley has worked with many well-known players in the NFL. Notable clients that Perzley has worked with include David Johnson[1][11][12], Cliff Avril, David Harris, D'Qwell Jackson[7], Tamba Hali, Taven Bryan[15], Christian Kirksey[16], Julius Brents[17], Trysten Hill[18], Juan Thornhill[19][20], Nick Gates[21][22][23], A.J. Jenkins[24], and Robert Alford.[25]
