John C. Jacobs is an American pharmaceutical executive.[1] He is currently the CEO and president of Novavax,[2]where he also serves as a member of the Board of Directors.[1][2]

Jacobs graduated with a B.S. in Business from SUNY Plattsburgh, and an MBA from Binghamton University.[3]
Career edit
Before joining Novavax, Jacobs worked for Cephalon, Wyeth, and Pfizer.[4][5] From 2014 to 2017, Jacobs held various executive positions at Teva Pharmaceuticals.[6][7]In October 2017, he joined Harmony Biosciences as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. In June 2018, he was named President and CEO, and was named to the board of directors.[8][9][10]
On January 23, 2023, Jacobs succeeded Stanley Erck as President and CEO of Novavax, also joining the company’s Board of Directors.[11][12]
