Jennie Maizels is an artist, illustrator, and educator.[1] She worked on pop-up books with Kate Petty.[2] She has also authored her own books.[3]
Early life and education edit
She attended Northfields School For Girls. She received a bachelor's degree from Central St. Martins School of Art in 1994.
Work and career edit
After graduation, she began collaborating with the children's book author Kate Perry. She illustrated Perry's The Great Grammar Book.[4]
The producers of the film Paddington 2 planned to work with her but dropped the plan. In 2018, she alleged they then stole her designs.[5]
She hosts Sketchbook Club classes in person and online, and has also hosted art courses for cancer patients.[6][1]
She lives and works in Braishfield, Hampshire.[7]
