Jathedar Santokh Singh was a prominent Sikh leader who served as the president of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC). His tenure as president began in 1981, a position he attained by ending the control of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) over the DSGMC. He was a key figure in Sikh politics in Delhi, having a significant influence for about two decades. His political stance often differed from that of the Akali Dal, indicating his independent approach in Sikh political matters.

His legacy in Sikh politics and community leadership was continued by his son, Manjit Singh G.K., who also became the head of the DSGMC, succeeding the Sarna brothers and marking an end to their 11-year control over the religious body. This transition highlighted the enduring influence of the Singh family in the Sikh community and their role in shaping the direction of Sikh affairs, particularly in Delhi.
