James Guttman is an American author, blogger, and speaker known for his work as an autism advocate and his contributions to the parenting genre through his books and blog, Hi Blog! I'm Dad. Born in New York, Guttman currently resides on Long Island.[1]

James Guttman was born in New York. The experiences and challenges he faced, including a life-changing quintuple bypass surgery at the age of 35, profoundly shaped his views and career path.[2]

Guttman began his career as a writer for various outlets, including Pro Wrestling Illustrated and TNA Impact Wrestling's website. He was a regular contributor on Mauro Ranallo's XM Radio show from 2008 to 2011. His first book, World Wrestling Insanity, was published in 2006 and was notable enough to be cited in a leaked White House memo during the vetting of Linda McMahon in 2017.[3]
As the webmaster of World Wrestling Insanity, Guttman interviewed over 300 different wrestlers from the past 40 years and pioneered early versions of wrestler-hosted podcasts in 2006 starring Paul Roma, Orlando Jordan, Bull Buchanan, Glacier, and others. One notable episode featured Paul Roma discussing why he wasn’t invited to the Horsemen reunion, which was covered in detail by PWInsider.[4]
He has written two additional books, Shoot First...Ask Questions Later (2009) and The Expectant Father’s Activity Book (2021), the latter becoming an Amazon bestseller in the parenting category.
