JRD Tata Foundation for Business Ethics, XLRI, Jamshedpur, established in 1997, attempts to foster ethical ambience in industries.[1] It attempts to foster ethical atmosphers by providing teaching resources to B-Schools, organising Management Development Programmes (MDP), providing publication and researh opportunities. XLRI, Xavier School of Management, has the distinction of providing Managerial ethics eduction ever since its inception in 1949,[2] inspired by JRD Tata, one of the Indian pioneers of ethics[3] and business.[4]

Ethics Orations edit

As part of ongoing learning process, Ethics Oration takes place every year, usually in the month of November, coinciding with JRD Tata's death anniversary on 29 November.[5] The first one was delivered by JRD Tata himself in 1991.[4][6] [7]
