Israeli Women's Basketball State Cup is the top tier cup competition in women's basketball in Israel. It was first contested in 1959 and is organized by the Israeli Basketball Association.

The competition has gone through various formats over the years. Under the current format the cup is contested solely by Premier League teams, while teams from lower tier leagues contest the Israeli Basketball Association Cup.

Hapoel Lev Jerusalem is the most recent winner, having won the cup for the first time in the 2023/24 season[1]. Maccabi Tel Aviv, with 12 cups, holds the record for most wins.

In previous years, the cup winner was entitled to participate in the Ronchetti Cup. However, the Ronchetti cup was succeeded by the EuroCup, which under current regulations does not grant the cup winner automatic qualification.[2]

Current Format edit

The State Cup is a single-elimination tournament. The cup is contested solely by the ten Premier League teams. Four Premier League teams, determined by a draw, play in the first round. The two first round winners join the other six Premier League teams for the quarter finals stage. Home court in the first round and quarter finals are determined by a draw. The semi-finals and final are played in the same venue. In 2023 and 2024 the semi-finals and final were played at Bet Maccabi in Rishon LeZion. As is customary in other cup competitions in Israel, The President of Israel attends the final and awards the cup to the winning team.
