Inspector Gadget is an upcoming science fiction comedy film based on the 1983 television series of the same name written by Mikey Day and Streeter Seidell. It was previously adapted in 1999 directed by David Kellogg and starring Matthew Broderick in the title role.
Premise edit
Inspector Gadget, a dim-witted cyborg detective, solves cases that threaten the world, while being secretly aided by his niece Penny and her dog Brain.
Production edit
In October 2019 it was announced Walt Disney Pictures had put into development a new film adaptation of the series, with Mikey Day and Streeter Seidell set to write the screenplay.[1]
