Industrial time is a time system used in most Time and attendance systems of the industry. In those systems work hours are displayed in decimal form which are then called industrial minutes. 100 industrial minutes would result in an hour while one industrial minute would be converted back as 36 seconds. As an example, 8 hours and 45 minutes would be calculated as 8.75h. This form of decimal time is intended to simplify data management of working times.
