Imad Mardnli spent the first part of his life in Lebanon. Because of the civil war, his family fled with him to Germany in 1978. Following his school career, he completed training as an office communications clerk and completed it with a technical college diploma.
In 1999, Mardnli then signed up as a temporary soldier in the military police force for four years, where he was trained and deployed in the area of personal protection. Since his time in the German Army, he has worked as a bodyguard inside and outside Germany, including for Nike, for which he protected Dirk Nowitzki, Nicolas Kiefer and Ronaldo.
Mardnli played theater early on. In addition to his full-time job as the owner of a security company, he also worked part-time as a stuntman for television productions. He has been taking acting lessons since 2014. He has been practicing martial arts such as boxing and Muay Thai since he was twelve and has a first dan (black belt) in taekwondo.
