Ichapore Swapnapuron society is an Indian non-governmental organization (NGO) that works towards ensuring Women’s health.[1].
The organization was started in 2009 by Sandip Pramanik, a Graphic Designer.Ichapore Swapnapuron Society Works on women’s health, education[2] and environment[3] in various districts of West Bengal and has impacted the lives of many poor women
Ichapore Swapnapuron Society is one of the leading NGOs in Ichapore and addresses the critical needs of poor women by working with Anganwadi (Indian rural child care center) workers, communities, district and state-level governments, as well as women’s education and health. The organization focuses on changing behaviors and practices .

History
editStarted in 2009 as Ichapore Swapnapuron Society, was started by Sandip Pramanik, who strives to create a better future and better health for the poor women of the village. Sandip Pramanik chose to build Ichapore Swapnapuron Society as an institution that inspired citizens to contribute towards this cause and also empowered local NGOs with technical know-how to create a lasting impact.
Ichapore Swapnapuron Society has developed from originally an organisation providing welfare relief for women to an organisation advocating for women's rights. It has worked to ensure that the diversity in ethnicity, religion, and caste among its staff is a strength and does not prevent success in its mission.
Ichapore Swapnapuron Society Participated in the ‘Khushi’ campaign as a part of National Alliance for the Fundamental Right to Health, So that every women can collect these Pad free of cost[4].
Ichapore Swapnapuron Society environmental works such as making artifical nests[5][6] for birds, so that their daily life is not affected by bright lights at night at railway station, park etc. Many volunteers participated from all over west Bengal for this projects their own area.[7]
Many street dogs are loss there life of speeding on the high road in the dark of night, Just to avoid seeing them in the dark of night. So they can be easily seen in the dark, therefore the Ichapore Swapnapuron Society has arranged reflective collars[8][9][10] around their necks. Ratan Tata was Impressed by this kind of work by someone from Mumbai[11]
Campaigns
editIchapore Swapnapuron Society has launched the following campaigns:
In order to maintain the balance of the environment, various schools have carried out tree plantation programs with students.
Organized Voluntary Blood Donation Camps at different place of South 24 Parganas for availabel blood at blood bank.
At the time of lockdown, migrant workers in different villages of South 24 parganas have arranged weekly ration.
The Society is organizing free health check-up camps at various place.
Durgotsava, the big festival of West Bengal, is organized by this society to give new clothes to the poor people in different parts of West Bengal and organize Puja Parikrama with them.
Ichapore Swapnapuron Society distributes unused surplus old good condition clothes among many poor people.
This Society is doing awareness work with Golapsundari in different places to stop child marriage and eliminate Dengue in the Villages of West Bengal.
