As a part of Hyundai Group conglomerate, the company was established in 1975 as Seohan Development Co., Ltd.[2] It changed has its name to Hyundai Welding Co., Ltd. in 1987 and today has 5 manufacturing locations in South Korea, Vietnam and China.[3] With its new investment, the company will manufacture flux cored welding wires in Texas, United States to serve the North American and Canadian market in the future.
