The Huervo is the highest point of the mountain range of the same name, located on the border with the sea of the Cantabrian municipality of Santillana del Mar (Spain). In the most prominent part it has a geodesic vertex that marks an altitude of 273.9 m s. n. m. from the base of the pillar, although according to recent data, its height is 275 m.[1] You get here from Yuso, through a track that goes to Puente Avíos, taking a path to the left about 250 meters from the town, or from Arroyo.
