Hourcast is a Boston-based heavy metal band formed in 2003 by vocalist Patrick McBride, drummer Jerry Clews, bassist Dave Sullivan, and guitarist Dave Henriquez. Following a few name changes, the band settled on HourCast and released their debut album, "State of Disgrace[1]" in the summer of 2006 under Alkamedia Records.
Since their formation, HourCast has played all over the country, released three full-length albums, and are planning a new national tour.

The Early Years edit
The band's formation began when drummer Jerry Clews and guitarist Dave Henriquez started collaborating on song ideas with Michall Ellenhart,[2] Synth and Electronics. Vocalist Patrick McBride was selected as well. Finally, the addition of bassist Dave Sullivan completed the lineup.
State of Disgrace edit
"State of Disgrace" gained significant attention with its single, "Freeze," which received a music video treatment and was featured on popular music programs like Fuse's "Uranium" and MTV's "Headbangers Ball". Additionally, Hourcast's song "Sakkara" found its place on the soundtrack for "Saw 3".[3] These accomplishments showcased the band's talent and helped them establish a loyal fan base.
Dystopia edit
Hourcast took their music in a new direction with their follow-up album, "Dystopia[4]". This release showcased a heavier hard rock style, characteristically stripped of keyboards. This evolution in their sound demonstrated the band's urge to experiment and grow as musicians.
Tours and Collaborations edit
Hourcast hit the road alongside prominent rock acts such as Godsmack,[5] Breaking Benjamin,[6] Sevendust,[7] Volbeat,[8] CKY,[9] and 30 Seconds to Mars,[10] in support of their debut album. Building on their tours, Hourcast took their music in a new direction with their follow-up album, "Dystopia[4]".

Hourcast has been working on new material, with a new release expected soon. Hourcast's journey from their debut album to their evolving sound in "Dystopia" illustrates their dedication to their craft and their commitment to delivering powerful and captivating rock music to their fans.
