Houle is a French Black Metal from Paris, formed in 2021.[1] They play mix of melodic and atmospheric black metal, with strong ocean themes.[2] Due to this theme the band self describe themselves as “marine black metal”.[3] They have released 1 Self titled EP and 1 studio album called “Ciel Cendre et Misère Noire” (Ashen skies and Black Misery).[1]
The band consists of 5 members- Agsagsona (vocals), Zéphyr (Rhythm guitar), Crabe (Lead guitar), Vikser (Drums) and Græy Gaast (Bass).[1] Vikser is also the drummer for the French Death metal band Once Upon the end, where he goes by the pseudonym Tentrom.[4]
