Honey Michelle Gregory (born 1963) is an American actress, author, attorney, and pod caster whose career has spanned more than thirty years. She has appeared in several films, but is best known for her role as "Honey the Mail Girl" in Joe Bob's Drive-in Theater from 1988-1995. She also appeared as a guest in The Last Drive-in with Joe Bob Briggs on Shudder (streaming service)[1].

Early life

Honey Michelle Gregory was born in Fort Worth, Texas in 1963. While in high school, she participated in drama and acting. After graduating in 1981, she married and had a daughter. She divorced in 1989 and afterwards secured an agent and started acting and modeling in Dallas. [2] [3]

Acting career

She studied acting at The Film Actor's Studio, the KD Studio, and North Lake Junior College [4]. Gregory has also appeared in several music videos, most notably in the music video for the song The Bluest Eyes in Texas by Restless Heart in 1988 [5] [6]. In 1988 Gregory met Joe Bob Briggs and began working on the wildly popular television series Joe Bob's Drive-In Theater from 1988 to 1995. From 1991-2000, Gregory reprised her role of "Honey the Mail Girl" on MonsterVision[7]. She was also interviewed for the magazine Indianapolis Monthly in December 2000 [8]. She discussed her television work with Bloom Magazine in their August/September 2012 issue. [9]

After she took a break from acting, Gregory was awarded a full scholarship from Southern Methodist University and graduated with a degree in Business Administration in 1997 [10] and a Master's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Schiller International University in London, England [11]. Gregory moved to Bloomington, Indiana in 1999 to attend law school at Indiana University [12]. Gregory is an attorney and has practiced Family Law in Bloomington, Indiana since 2003 [13].
