Biography
edit1997-2015: Childhood and career turning point
editHoaprox's full name is Nguyễn Thái Hòa (born May 31, 1997), born in Da Lat city , Lam Dong province. Although not coming from a family with an artistic tradition, since the age of 14, his passion for music has begun to burn in his blood. Since then, he has spent most of his time on the computer to explore and learn about music. He started producing music at the age of 15. Just two years later, Hoaprox began his musical career as a young, influential talent and a musical bridge between Vietnam and the world through music products and large-scale shows.
In 2015, Hoaprox composed, produced and shared the song “Ngẫu hứng” on his YouTube channel and it was enthusiastically received by everyone. Hoaprox himself did not expect that shortly after, “Ngau Hung” would become an international musical phenomenon and help him achieve many achievements in his career.
During his youth, his biggest dream was not music but programming . Therefore, he passed the entrance exam to the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology at the University of Natural Sciences. However, musical opportunities began to come to him, but at the same time his path to study was opening up. This made him think a lot, but Hoaprox still chose music and balanced it with his study path.
In addition to composing music products in his own style, Hoaprox has emerged as a phenomenon when remixing songs/sayings on social networks in a very unique and catchy way, contributing to hot new trends for the online community such as the songs " Yêu 5", "Bùa Yêu", "Đưa nhau đi trốn", " Pen Pineapple Apple Pen ", etc.
2016-2017: Preparing for a big step forward in your career
editIn 2016, Hoaprox's official YouTube channel quickly attracted hundreds of thousands of subscribers and soon achieved the Silver Button (for channels reaching 100,000 subscribers). The channel has now reached more than 500,000 subscribers and more than 134 million views.
By 2017, he had achieved many great achievements both domestically and internationally. His self-composed song "Improvisation" took social networks by storm and became a musical phenomenon in the gaming world in China . It became a "stormy" phenomenon in the Chinese market with more than 2 billion streams on music platforms in the Chinese market, and was discussed for a long time on China's largest music social networking sites. Topped the electronic music charts on Chinese music platforms (for 15 months according to NETEASE Music).
