Harry Mahoney was a farmer, deputy sheriff, and state legislator in Louisiana. Earlier in his life he was enslaved in Maryland and sold in Louisiana to M. P. wynche for whom he was a body serveant.nhe served in the Confederate Army. He was one of the Louisianan newspaper's publishers. He lived in Plaquemines Parish.[1]
